In Shoulder Clinic I, you learn how to keep your shoulders safe through the common vinyasa, which includes the postures Adho Mukha Svanasana, Chaturanga Dandasana, and Urdhva Mukha Svanasana. In Shoulder Clinic II, we'll use many of the same actions required in those postures, and apply them to arm balances, including poses like Parsva Bakasana, Eka Pada Koundinyasana II, Vasistasana, and Visvamitrasana if we have time. In addition, we'll examine how the shoulders functions in binding postures, including standing & seated binds, and why it's important to take good care of this joint in these positions. We'll specifically look at positions such as Paschima Namaskarasana (reverse namaste) and other "behind the back" binds.
