Breath is the soul of life. It is how we connect to our bodies, our minds, and our emotions. It is central to the yogic tradition, but often we only hear, “Inhale, exhale.”
Breath can bring energy, focus, and clarity to the practice. It can create strength and endurance for challenging postures, deepen stretches in opening postures, and bring balance and ease throughout the practice. In daily life, it can facilitate emotional balance, improved relationships, and the release of fear, anxiety, and stress.
During this workshop, you will learn how to use your breath as a tool to improve your yoga practice, play with integrating yogic breathing techniques into your asanas, and find ways to take the benefits of yogic breathing off the mat and into the rest of your life.
